A 35-year member of MWGA and an MWGA Hall of Famer, Martha MacIntosh served as a Governor of the GAM, a championship Rules Official, and a golf administrator for the Michigan Women's Amateur and the Women’s Interstate Mid-AM Championship. She was honored to be a recipient of the Michigan Women's Golf Leadership Award.
Martha volunteered with kindness and humor during her longtime involvement with the women's golf community and LPGA*USGA. Her passion for the sport and commitment to this cause will long be remembered. The Legacy on the Links tournament proudly continues Martha's advocacy for the Girls Golf Program.
"Words cannot adequately express how deeply thankful we are for the outpouring of support from the Michigan womens golf community on the loss of our beloved "Nootie", Mother and Grammy. Your phone calls, notes, and visits have meant the world to us. Your "Martha Stories" and anecdotes have made us laugh and cry and underscored for us just how many, many lives she touched, the hundreds of friendships she made, the good she did and the adventures she had while living her remarkable life.
Your love, kindness and shared memories have helped immeasurably during these very difficult days."
With all our love,
Bruce, Jeane, Jack, Katie, the Grandkids and the extended MacIntosh clan
